Description
Inspired by the iconic 1961 La Concha Motel sign in Las Vegas, this hand-pulled screen print celebrates the bold energy and nostalgic charm of vintage Vegas architecture.
Using layered inks, rich halftones, and vibrant retro colors, I transformed my original photograph of the famous shell-shaped sign into a handmade art print inspired by classic roadside Americana and mid-century modern design. Originally photographed at the Neon Museum, the artwork captures the timeless glow and character of one of Las Vegas’ most recognizable landmarks.
Each print is carefully hand-pulled using traditional screen printing techniques, giving every piece its own unique texture and authentic handmade feel. The layered halftones and bold colors create depth and movement while embracing the imperfections that make screen printing special.
