Description
Inspired by the energy, frustration, and word of the NOFX song The Decline. This original hand screen printed artwork captures a moment of a young punk surrounded in the collapsing landscape of America but still holding on to hope as he writes in chalk “We are the whores, We are the queers”. This print is not in any way meant to interpret the meaning of the song but what the song means to me.
The art is supposed to make you feel uncomfortable in the current state of the US.
Printed by hand using 3 bold water based inks on 100lb heavyweight paper, this piece uses layered colors and detailed halftones to create depth, texture, and that unmistakable screen printed feel. Every pull leaves subtle variations that make each print unique.
Shipped rolled in triangle mailing tube.
